Energy Services of America posted fiscal third-quarter revenue of $130 million, up 25.5% from a year earlier.
Net income rose 57.9% to $3.3 million, lifting diluted EPS to $0.18.
Adjusted EBITDA climbed to $8.3 million; gross margin narrowed 0.6 percentage points to 11% on a large gas transmission job.
Backlog, demand and dividend
Backlog stood at $286.6 million at June 30, down from March 31's $325.1 million.
Management cited demand in water distribution and electrical construction, a recovery in gas transmission, and raised the quarterly dividend 33% to $0.04 a share.
