Enphase Partners with Capital Good Fund to Deploy 24 MW of Domestic Microinverters
Enphase Energy will supply 24 MW of IQ8P-3P and IQ9N-3P microinverters for small commercial and residential solar projects across Georgia and Pennsylvania through a partnership with Capital Good Fund. Domestically manufactured units qualify for the bonus tax credit and leverage per-panel monitoring to enhance project reliability.
1. Partnership Overview
Enphase Energy has partnered with Capital Good Fund, a community development financial institution delivering low-cost solar PPAs and leases to nonprofits, houses of worship, affordable housing and small businesses. The agreement expands their long-standing collaboration to deploy Enphase’s microinverters in mission-aligned commercial and residential projects.
2. Deployment Scope and Locations
The partnership will support approximately 24 MW of small commercial and residential solar installations across Georgia and Pennsylvania. The majority of capacity focuses on mission-aligned commercial facilities, with the remainder allocated to low- and moderate-income homeowner leases under the BRIGHT program.
3. Product Features and Manufacturing
Enphase will supply its IQ8P-3P and IQ9N-3P microinverters manufactured in U.S. facilities, enabling eligibility for the domestic content bonus tax credit. The IQ9 Commercial Microinverter uses gallium nitride technology for three-phase 480Y/277 V grids, while per-panel monitoring simplifies asset management and reduces central failure points.
4. Strategic Implications
This deployment strengthens Enphase’s domestic manufacturing footprint and aligns with evolving U.S. sourcing requirements, potentially boosting margins through tax credits. Enhanced project visibility and long-term reliability could bolster Enphase’s competitive position among solar asset owners and third-party providers.
