Enphase to Launch 1.9×-Density IQ Battery G5 and 97.4%-Efficient Microinverter
ENPH•Enphase Energy will debut its 5th-gen IQ Battery G5 in Europe, offering 1.9× the energy density of 3rd-gen unit in modular 5–30 kWh blocks with 15-year warranty, for Q1 2027 delivery. It will also showcase the 97.4%-efficient IQ9N microinverter, bidirectional EV chargers, AI-driven energy management at Intersolar Europe in Munich.

Enphase Energy is showcasing its latest solar and storage products at The smarter E Europe in Munich from June 23 to 25, highlighting innovations designed for the European home energy market.
2. IQ Battery G5
The IQ Battery G5 offers 1.9× the energy density of the previous generation in a space-saving, stackable design, scaling from 5 to 30 kWh in 5 kWh modules with integrated grid-forming microinverters and PowerMatch™, backed by a 15-year warranty and scheduled for Q1 2027 European launch.
3. IQ9N Microinverter
The IQ9N Microinverter delivers 97.4% EU weighted efficiency using GaN technology, supports 427 VA continuous output on high-power residential panels, provides built-in rapid shutdown, is backward compatible with IQ7 and IQ8 systems, and carries a 25-year warranty with select European availability today.
4. EV Chargers and Energy Management
Enphase’s bidirectional EV chargers include the DC-based IQ Bidirectional EV Charger for vehicle charging, home backup and future grid services, plus the single- and three-phase IQ EV Charger 2 with AI optimization, dynamic load balancing and MID-certified metering; its AI-driven IQ Energy Management platform can cut water-heating costs by up to 35% and cover up to 50% of EV driving with solar.
