Ensign Group enters Florida with acquisition of eight skilled nursing facilities
ENSG•Ensign Group expanded into Florida with eight acquired post-acute operations effective Oct. 1, 2026. Separate acquisitions included a Pensacola facility, seven Colorado facilities and four Washington facilities.
1. Florida expansion
Ensign expanded into Florida with eight acquired post-acute operations effective Oct. 1, 2026. In a separate deal, it added Englewood Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation in Pensacola; Standard Bearer bought the real estate, while an Ensign affiliate operates the facility.
2. Other acquisitions
Additional acquisitions included seven Colorado facilities with 760 skilled nursing beds and 47 independent living units, and four Washington facilities with 532 skilled nursing beds. Ensign reported 418 healthcare operations across 18 states.
