ENTG•Patent validity rulings in Taiwan and China
Entegris says Taiwan and China have upheld the validity of its acidic colloidal silica CMP slurry technology patents.
- Taiwan IP and Commercial Court upheld Taiwan Patent No. I561622 on July 14, 2026.
- China’s National Intellectual Property Administration upheld Chinese Patent No. 107075343B on Aug. 10, 2026.
- The rulings reinforce a patent family tied to a 2021 U.S. ITC import ban on Qnity’s Optiplane CMP slurries.
- ITC exclusion and cease-and-desist orders remain in force until 2035 following a 2024 U.S. litigation resolution.
