The group plans to mature and test about 20-25 high-impact prospects over the next four to five years.
It also has an ambition to drill about five high-impact exploration wells a year under the collaboration.

Equinor, Aker BP and Vår Energi have formed a strategic exploration collaboration targeting the largest remaining prospects on Norway’s continental shelf.
The partnership aims to share risk, combine data, technology and capacity to pursue prospects with higher uncertainty, complexity and capital needs.
