Equinox Gold Posts 60,113 tCO2e Cut and 1.65 TRIFR in 2025 ESG Report
EQX•Equinox Gold’s 2025 Sustainability Report highlights zero significant environmental incidents, a reduction of 60,113 tCO2e and a TRIFR improvement to 1.65 post-Calibre merger. It distributed $2.1 billion in economic value, invested $14 million in community programs and secured external assurance under the Responsible Gold Mining Principles.

Equinox Gold published its 2025 Sustainability Report under GRI and SASB frameworks, reflecting performance from January 1 to December 31, 2025, and incorporating the June 2025 Calibre Mining merger.
2. Environmental Achievements
Environmental achievements include a zero significant environmental incident frequency rate, 60,113 tCO2e emissions reduction from efficiency and renewable initiatives, planting of 118,000 seedlings across 40 hectares of restoration, and avoidance of three tonnes of mercury through responsible sourcing.
3. Social and Governance Progress
Social and governance progress features a Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate improvement to 1.65 with zero fatalities, $2.1 billion in economic value distributed, $14 million invested in community programs, five Indigenous benefits agreements, 98% local workforce, completion of external assurance under the Responsible Gold Mining Principles, and increases to 16% workforce and 30% board gender diversity.
