ERG urges predictable multi-year renewables auction schedule in ARERA 2026-2029 framework debate
ICLN•Wind repowering win under FER X
Bragoli pointed to ERG’s 141 MW wind repowering win in the first transitional FER X tender, which secured 20-year tariffs.
ERG calls for predictable auction schedules
ERG regulatory chief Luca Bragoli told ARERA’s 2026-2029 strategy consultation that the next four years will be decisive for turning energy-transition targets into investments.
He called for predictable, multi-year auction schedules for FER-X and FER-Z to ensure renewable capacity is awarded, built, connected, then brought into operation.
Support for long-term PPAs and coordinated regulation
He backed wider use of long-term PPAs to reduce exposure to market volatility, support post-subsidy assets and improve long-term market liquidity.
He also urged coordinated regulation for electrification, flexibility, storage and networks, citing MACSE mechanisms, market-based models such as tolling and transparent access to flexibility services.
