EU Commission clears acquisition of Nexera by Orange and APG
ORAN•EU approves Orange and APG’s Nexera acquisition
BRUSSELS, Aug 24 (Reuters) - The European Commission said on Monday it has cleared the acquisition of Poland's Nexera by French telecom company Orange ORAN.PA and Dutch fund APG.
"The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not raise competition concerns, given its limited impact on competition in the markets where the companies are active," the Commission said in a statement.
Orange and APG said in December they had agreed to buy Nexera in a transaction valuing the company at 1.5 billion zlotys ($406.00 million).
