Lithium Argentina entered definitive agreements with Ganfeng to form a new PPG joint venture consolidating Pozuelos-Pastos Grandes assets in Salta.
- The PPG JV targets 150,000 tpa of LCE across three phases, combining adjacent brine projects into a single basin-wide development.
- Ganfeng will own 67% of the JV. Lithium Argentina will hold 33%.
- Key development, financing, and budget decisions require both partners.
- Ganfeng’s Salta team will operate the JV.
- The partners will fund in proportion to ownership pending completion of project-level financing.
- Transaction completion is expected in September 2026.
- The projects will be consolidated under Millennial Lithium B.V., a Dutch holding company.
