Eurazeo, Bank of America and SMI launch biodiversity investment initiative with $40 million in commitments
BAC•Eurazeo, Bank of America and the Sustainable Markets Initiative launched the Lighthouse Initiative with $40 million in commitments on September 23, 2026. It is open to additional investors.
1. Investment focus
Management will sit within the Future Industries III fund, with Eurazeo and Bank of America serving as anchor investors. The initiative will make minority investments in project development platforms and selected technology solutions across developed and emerging markets; each investment must support at least one target under the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
