Supply and refinery developments
President Donald Trump said on Monday the United States was reinstating its blockade of Iranian shipping in the Gulf and would ensure the Strait of Hormuz stays open — for a fee — after the two sides exchanged more missile and drone attacks.
Russia's seaborne oil product exports dropped by 27% on a daily basis in June month-on-month and by 37% from the same month a year ago to 5.7 million metric tons, as relentless drone attacks forced unplanned shutdowns at key domestic refineries, according to industry sources and Reuters calculations.
