Evogene has entered a new phase of its Google Cloud partnership focused on embedding advanced AI Agents into its proprietary ChemPass AI platform. Leveraging Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, the initiative is designed to boost the speed and precision of small-molecule identification and optimization for both pharmaceutical and agricultural targets.

The integrated AI Agents can independently plan, reason and execute multi-step scientific workflows, enabling large-scale parallel molecular exploration. These agents are expected to automate critical discovery processes, shorten design–make–test cycles and enhance success rates in generating commercially viable small-molecule candidates.

This announcement marks Evogene’s second major milestone with Google Cloud since October 2024 and underscores its leading position in AI-driven molecular design. The expanded collaboration is poised to broaden Evogene’s service offerings, accelerate future partnerships and potentially distribute parts of ChemPass AI through Google Cloud Marketplace for global accessibility.
