EXSR•Exchange Bank's third-quarter net interest income rose 8.4% year over year to $25.18 million, while net income was $8.87 million. Non-interest income fell 13.8% as the quarter lacked the prior year's one-time gains.
1. Quarterly results
Exchange Bank said higher net interest income, driven by lower interest expense and increased loan balances, contributed to its third-quarter results. Net income was $8.87 million, net interest income was $25.18 million and pretax profit was $10.62 million.
2. Expenses and outlook
Non-interest income fell 13.8% because of the absence of one-time gains in the prior year. It estimates investment portfolio cash flow of more than $60 million through the remainder of 2026.
