Expion360 and Dealer Accessory Supply entered a strategic partnership to develop and launch the DASGen Hybrid Energy Storage System for construction and industrial job sites. Under the agreement, Dealer Accessory Supply will serve as the final assembler and integrator of the DASGen units, while Expion360 supplies its lithium iron phosphate battery modules and leads sales and marketing efforts through its commercial organization.

The DASGen Hybrid Energy Storage System is designed to operate as an energy buffer between diesel generators and jobsite electrical loads, leveraging advanced industrial power electronics and Expion360’s battery technology. Key objectives include reducing diesel generator runtime, lowering fuel consumption and maintenance costs, cutting noise levels, and supporting emissions reduction and greater cost predictability under varying load profiles.

In a recent deployment on a construction site using a 25kW diesel generator, the DASGen system was installed to supplement continuous operation across multiple shifts. Following installation, the generator’s operational hours decreased and diesel fuel use declined during the evaluation period, demonstrating the system’s potential to optimize on-site power efficiency and resource utilization.
