FedEx appoints Garrick Thompson to lead Philippines operations
FedEx appointed Garrick Thompson managing director of FedEx Philippines, leading a workforce of more than 1,300 employees.
The role includes oversight of the Asia Pacific Trade Facilitation Center covering customs clearance, trade compliance, cargo documentation across multiple regions.
Thompson previously served more than five years as managing director of FedEx Indonesia.
He joined FedEx in New Zealand in 2007, holding leadership roles across human resources, operations, sales.
His mandate includes overseeing continued investment in the Philippines, including expansion of the Clark facility transshipment gateway.
