Fed's Daly says tech investment should be watched

Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco President Mary Daly said on Wednesday that strong levels of investment in the tech sector need to be watched.

“If you just looked at the growth rate and the amount” of investment for things like artificial intelligence, “you would definitely get, you'd say, okay, this is ... very nervous making, I guess, or very worrisome,” Daly said at a conference in Tokyo.

She said it is worth studying “what could go wrong that would tip this over?”
