Fermi reported three Siemens Energy SGT6-5000F natural gas turbines arrived at the Port of Houston for Project Matador.
The turbines are rated up to 780 MW in simple-cycle mode, forming the backbone of the project’s phase-two power buildout.
Project Matador near Amarillo, Texas targets about 1.5 GW of power capacity through 2027, subject to binding tenant agreements.
The company cited more than $1.4 billion invested in site buildout to date across 7,570 acres secured or under long-term lease.
