Ferrari Hypersail partners with Azimut Yachts for prototype tow-boat support
RACE•Ferrari’s Hypersail project partnered with Azimut Yachts for development and early on-water testing. Azimut will host a base in Livorno and provide an Azimut Fly 72 tow boat for initial foil takeoff trials.
1. Testing support
Azimut will host an operational base at its Livorno facilities for Hypersail’s test and development activities. An Azimut Fly 72 will support initial foil takeoff trials before the prototype is fitted with its rigging and sails. The vessel’s onboard spaces were redesigned for testing and can later be adapted for crew needs or VIP hospitality.
