First Citizens BancShares released its 2026 Pillar 3 regulatory capital disclosures for the period ended June 30, 2026.
- CET1 capital totaled USD 19.89 billion; Tier 1 capital USD 21.65 billion; total capital USD 24.68 billion.
- FCB could have paid up to USD 6.15 billion in additional dividends while staying well capitalized; USD 1.15 billion was paid to the parent.
- Purchase Money Note carrying value fell to USD 28.42 billion from USD 33.39 billion at Dec. 31, 2025; USD 5 billion prepaid in H1.
- Share repurchases in Q2 totaled USD 600 million; 298,907 Class A shares bought back.
