Q2 results and balance sheet trends
First Community Corporation posted Q2 net income of $7.6 million, up 46.5% from a year earlier; diluted EPS rose 19.4% to $0.80.
Net interest margin widened 0.14 percentage points from Q1 to 3.51%, marking a ninth straight quarter of expansion.
Total deposits were $2.03 billion at June 30, up $275.3 million year-to-date, including $229.8 million from the Signature Bank of Georgia acquisition.
