Fluence rises on Vattenfall battery storage project
FLNC•Fluence signed a deal with Vattenfall to deliver a 254 MW battery storage facility in Germany with capacity exceeding 1,000 MWh. Construction is expected to begin in 2027, with commissioning and grid connection planned for the end of 2028.

Fluence will provide turnkey engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, plus long-term service support, for Vattenfall’s battery storage facility in Germany. The project is expected to be among Germany’s largest battery storage projects and Vattenfall’s largest battery project.
