Fluence starts construction of 400 MWh Heinersbrück battery storage project with LEAG Clean Power
FLNC•Fluence begins 400 MWh Heinersbrück battery project in Germany
Fluence began deploying a 400 MWh Heinersbrück GridBattery project for LEAG Clean Power in eastern Germany.
Fluence will design, supply and build the system using its Smartstack technology; completion is scheduled for 2027.
The project will share a grid connection with co-located wind and solar assets on recultivated former mining land.
The deployment follows the companies’ 1 GW/4 GWh GigaBattery Jänschwalde 1000 project, also being delivered by Fluence.
