FocalTherics launched its first European endometriosis Focal One® program at Toulouse Hospital using its Robotic HIFU system under Professor Elodie Chantalat. Over 10 hospitals in Europe, the UK and Latin America are in its training pathway and the system holds CE Mark since March 2025.
On June 30, 2026, FocalTherics initiated its first European commercial endometriosis Focal One® program at Toulouse University Hospital, treating initial patients with deep infiltrating endometriosis. The procedures were performed by Professor Elodie Chantalat and proctored by Professor Gil Dubernard, both leading gynecologic specialists.
This launch is part of FocalTherics’ strategy to expand its endometriosis Focal One programs, with more than ten hospitals in Europe, the United Kingdom and Latin America active in its clinical training pathway. FocalTherics plans to work with endometriosis specialists and thought leaders to establish additional programs.
The Focal One Robotic HIFU system uses imaging and high-intensity focused ultrasound to precisely ablate endometriosis lesions without incisions, aiming to minimize morbidity and preserve organ function. The system received CE Mark approval for treating posterior deep infiltrating endometriosis in March 2025 and offers a non-surgical alternative preferred by 91% of patients.
