Ford, Geely form joint venture at Valencia plant to build multi-energy vehicles in Europe

Production is slated to start in 2028 and will cover a new multi-energy Ford crossover, a new Bronco-family model, and two Geely electric SUVs.
The Valencia plant has capacity of about 500,000 vehicles a year. Kuga output will continue during the transition.
Ford and Geely form Europe-focused manufacturing venture
Ford agreed to form a Europe-focused manufacturing joint venture with Geely Auto at its Valencia, Spain plant.
Ownership is set at 66% for Ford and 34% for Geely Auto. Operations are targeted to start in the first half of 2027, pending approvals.
