Fortrea appointed Oren Cohen as its dedicated Chief Medical Officer, focusing on medical strategy, scientific leadership, ethics and governance across its portfolio. Scott Dove joins as President of Clinical Pharmacology Services, leading early clinical development solutions across Fortrea’s global clinical research units.
1. Leadership Changes at Fortrea
Fortrea has expanded its executive team by dedicating Oren Cohen, MD to the role of Chief Medical Officer, where he will oversee medical strategy, scientific leadership, ethics and governance across all clinical development phases. Scott Dove, PhD has been appointed President of Clinical Pharmacology Services to drive early clinical trial solutions through Fortrea’s network of specialized research units.
2. Executive Experience and Strategic Focus
Dr. Cohen brings over 20 years of drug development leadership, having served as CMO and head of Clinical Pharmacology Services at Labcorp Drug Development and in senior roles at Viamet Pharmaceuticals and Quintiles/IQVIA. Dr. Dove contributes more than 25 years in clinical development operations, with leadership roles at Aravive, PPD, Allergan and Furiex Pharmaceuticals, positioning him to enhance Fortrea’s early phase clinical capabilities.
