FSM•Fortuna Mining reported 1.9 g/t gold over an estimated true width of 64 meters from 19 meters at Kabewest in Senegal. About 70% of assays have been received, and an initial inferred resource estimate is targeted for the first quarter of 2027.
1. Kabewest drilling results
The completed 10,524-meter Kabewest campaign intersected 1.9 g/t gold over an estimated true width of 64 meters from 19 meters. Mineralization extends over more than 600 meters of strike and remains open along strike and at depth.
2. Bambadji program
Kabewest is about 2.3 kilometers from the proposed Diamba Sud plant site. The campaign is the first phase of an $8 million, 51,000-meter Bambadji drilling program running through year-end 2026; an initial inferred resource estimate is targeted for the first quarter of 2027.
