Kathleen Oates appointed to accounting and finance roles

Franklin BSP Capital appointed Kathleen Oates as chief accounting officer, taking over as principal financial officer and principal accounting officer, effective July 27, 2026.

Oates is an executive director at Benefit Street Partners; previously a senior manager in PwC’s asset and wealth management assurance practice.

She replaces Nina Baryski, who held the principal financial officer and principal accounting officer roles until the transition.
