Foreign exchange operations realized a net gain of $45.8 million versus $3.9 million in the prior-year period, and derivatives net gain rose to $26.5 million. Interest income grew 2% to $228.8 million, insurance premiums fell 40% to $106.9 million due to regulatory commission caps, and trading securities delivered $52.3 million in realized gains.
