Freeport-McMoRan Q2 FY26 net income climbs 27.46% to USD 984 million
FCX•Copper sales volumes fall while realized prices rise
Copper sales volumes dropped to 710 million pounds from 1,016 million pounds, while the average realized copper price rose 35.9% to $6.17 per pound.
Unit net cash costs rose to $1.97 per pound from $1.13 per pound, while site production and delivery costs increased to $3.28 per pound from $2.71.
Freeport-McMoRan reports higher Q2 net income but lower revenue
Freeport-McMoRan posted Q2 net income attributable to common stockholders of $984 million, up 27.46%, with diluted EPS of $0.68, up 28.3%.
Revenue fell 7.29% to $7.03 billion, while operating income slid 17.64% to $2.00 billion.
