Fusion Fuel to Gain 1% NSR on Jaguar’s 27,350-Hectare Huemul Uranium-Copper Project
HTOO•Fusion Fuel’s planned acquisition of Royal Uranium will provide a 1.0% NSR royalty on Jaguar Uranium’s 27,350-hectare Huemul Project, Argentina’s first producing uranium mine. Jaguar’s field campaign reported visible surface uranium-copper-vanadium mineralization, identified a 4 km copper trend and submitted 200 rock samples for assay.
1. Planned Acquisition and Royalty Exposure
Fusion Fuel’s acquisition of a controlling interest in Royal Uranium will secure a 1.0% net smelter return royalty on any future production from the 27,350-hectare Huemul Project in Mendoza Province. This royalty structure grants Fusion Fuel a share of revenue without funding exploration, development, or operating costs at the project.
2. Surface Exploration Highlights
Jaguar Uranium’s recent field campaign at the Huemul Project observed visible uranium-copper-vanadium mineralization at surface, identified a 4 km copper trend in the Uryco zone, and conducted the first-ever sampling of historic mine dumps. A total of 200 rock samples have been collected and submitted for laboratory analysis, with assay results pending.
3. Historical Grades and Future Assays
Historical records indicate average head grades of approximately 0.21% uranium, 2.0% copper and 0.11% vanadium within the project area, although these figures have not been independently verified. Final assay results will be crucial to assessing grade continuity, resource potential and the economic viability of the Huemul Project.
