In its latest 13F filing, GatePass Capital LLC cut its SoFi Technologies holding by 18.3% during the third quarter, selling 22,476 shares and ending the period with 100,045 shares. SoFi now represents approximately 1.5% of GatePass’s total portfolio, ranking it as the firm’s 14th largest position. As of the filing date, the remaining stake was valued at roughly $2.64 million.

2. Broader Institutional Movements in SoFi Shares

Several smaller funds also adjusted their allocations to SoFi in the same quarter. SJS Investment Consulting increased its position by 840.3%, acquiring 1,000 additional shares to reach 1,119 shares total. ORG Partners added 1,003 shares for a 230.6% boost, while Bartlett & Co. Wealth Management and Bfsg LLC lifted their holdings by 46.9% and 200.0%, respectively, each purchasing fewer than 500 new shares. Collectively, institutional ownership in SoFi stands at 38.43%.

3. Insider Sales Intensify Across Multiple Executives

Company filings reveal that two senior executives sold a combined 137,969 shares during the fourth quarter. Chief Technology Officer Jeremy Rishel disposed of 91,837 shares and Executive Vice President Arun Pinto sold 46,132 shares. These transactions reduced Pinto’s position by one quarter and Rishel’s by over 10%, bringing insiders’ total dispositions this period to 167,813 shares, or 2.60% of the outstanding shares.

4. Third-Quarter Earnings Beat Expectations and FY25 Guidance

SoFi reported third-quarter revenue of $949.6 million, up 37.7% year-over-year, and non-GAAP EPS of $0.11, outpacing the consensus forecast by $0.02. Net margin reached 19.3% and return on equity was 5.1%. Management set fiscal 2025 EPS guidance at $0.37, while analysts’ consensus for the full year remains at $0.26 per share.
