GCT Semiconductor posted a Q2 2026 net loss of $20.4 million, widening 50.5% year over year. The net loss included a $12.3 million warrant-liability fair-value loss.
Net revenues fell 17.9% to $1 million. Gross margin turned negative from 32% a year earlier on low product revenue.
Expenses ease and adjusted EBITDA loss narrows
Adjusted EBITDA loss, non-GAAP, narrowed 1.7% to $6.6 million. Operating expenses slipped 9.8% to $7.2 million.
5G shipments rise sequentially; outlook points to stronger second half
5G chipset shipments rose about 71% sequentially to more than 5,100. CEO John Schlaefer cited demand across FWA, satellite connectivity, private networks, and industrial IoT.
Cash and cash equivalents totaled $30.2 million. The company said second-half 2026 aggregate 5G shipments are expected to exceed first-half levels.
