GE Aerospace to buy Consolidated Precision Products
GE Aerospace agreed to buy precision castings supplier Consolidated Precision Products from Warburg Pincus and Berkshire Partners for USD 11.75 billion.
Deal financing includes USD 7 billion of cash, with the balance funded through new debt.
CPP makes engineered castings for commercial aerospace and defense; it employs about 6,600 people across more than 20 sites.
Valuation set at about 18x 2027 EBITDA including expected net synergies, or about 26x without synergies.
Closing targeted for the second half of 2027; expected to lift adjusted EPS and free cash flow in year one.
