GM’s Chief Growth Officer Norm de Greve departed after six months in the newly created role, following nearly three years including his tenure as chief marketing officer. Norm de Greve, who joined GM as chief marketing officer before transitioning to the newly created chief growth officer role in November 2025, has left the company after six months in that position and nearly three years overall. His departure marks the end of a tenure credited with significant marketing transformations at the automaker.
2. Marketing Leadership Realignment
Lin-Hua Wu, formerly GM’s chief marketing officer, has been appointed chief communications and marketing officer. Sigal Cordeiro will transition from vice president of global planning and customer research to vice president of global marketing and insights, with Chief Media Officer Shenan Reed and Executive Director Laura Thornton now reporting to Wu.
