Gilat secured an $11 million contract to deploy its SkyEdge platform across multiple APAC markets, reinforcing its leadership in next-generation VHTS infrastructure. The deal covers turnkey supply of ground segment equipment—including modems, solid-state power amplifiers and ground-station management software—as well as installation and field support services over a three-year period. This award follows a 25% year-over-year increase in Gilat’s APAC bookings and expands the company’s footprint with a major regional telecommunications operator. Management projects that the contract will contribute approximately 5% to total 2026 service and equipment revenues and support incremental gross margins above the corporate average.
