Gilead Sciences says HIV growth drove 16% rise in Q3 2026 base business sales
GILD•Gilead Sciences reported third-quarter sales excluding Veklury of $8.2 billion, up 16%, and raised its full-year sales guidance excluding Veklury to $30.7 billion–$31 billion. HIV sales rose 18% to $6.2 billion.
1. Sales and earnings
Third-quarter 2026 sales excluding Veklury increased 16% to $8.2 billion, driven by HIV, Trodelvy and Livdelzi. HIV sales rose 18% to $6.2 billion on higher realized prices, stronger demand and favorable inventory dynamics. Trodelvy sales grew 42% on stronger breast cancer demand, while cell therapy sales fell 18% amid competitive pressures.
2. Outlook raised
Non-GAAP diluted earnings were $2.55 per share, reflecting higher product sales and lower acquired research expenses, partly offset by higher operating expenses. Gilead raised full-year sales guidance excluding Veklury to $30.7 billion–$31 billion, lifting the midpoint by $900 million from August.
