Global steel output fell 0.2% year over year in September
XLB•Global crude steel production fell 0.2% year over year to 142.4 million tonnes in September. China’s output rose 0.1% to 73.6 million tonnes.

Global crude steel production fell 0.2% from a year earlier to 142.4 million tonnes in September, World Steel Association data showed. China, the world’s top producer and consumer of steel, produced 73.6 million tonnes, up 0.1%.
