Golar LNG executed an EPC deal with CIMC Raffles to order its fourth FLNG unit, targeting delivery by end-2029.
- Total project budget is set at about USD 2.45 billion, including delivery to the prospective site; a donor vessel has been secured for conversion.
- The unit uses the MKII design with 3.5 MTPA capacity; it is a repeat build alongside FLNG Esperanza at the same yard.
- Black & Veatch will supply PRICO liquefaction technology, detailed engineering, topside equipment procurement, and commissioning support.
- The order lifts controlled liquefaction capacity by about 40% to above 12 MTPA; a long-term charter is targeted, with talks ongoing.
