Gold edges higher after Fed decision
July 30 (Reuters) - Gold prices edged higher on Thursday, as markets assessed comments from U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh on tackling inflation after the central bank left interest rates unchanged at its latest policy meeting.

Other precious metals and global policy backdrop
The Bank of England and the Bank of Japan are also widely expected to keep rates unchanged this week and caution against inflationary pressures linked to the Middle East war.
