Google DeepMind, Google Cloud to allow European researchers access to frontier models
Google DeepMind and Google Cloud will provide up to 200 European scientific researchers with access to their frontier models and $3 million in compute credits.
1. Research access
The companies said researchers will have direct access to scientific tools including AlphaFold 3, WeatherNext, AlphaGenome, AlphaEvolve and AlphaEarth Foundations. They said the tools could help researchers tackle challenges such as predicting extreme weather patterns and mapping molecular structures.
