Google Secures Broadcom TPU, Networking Deals Through 2031 and Expands Anthropic Access
Google inked agreements with Broadcom to develop and supply Tensor Processing Units and networking components for its AI server racks through 2031. It expanded Anthropic’s access to 3.5 gigawatts of next-generation TPUs as the startup’s revenue run-rate topped $30 billion and its $1 million-plus spending clients doubled to 1,000.
1. TPU and Networking Agreements
Google has entered into multi-year deals with Broadcom to co-develop and supply custom Tensor Processing Units and networking components for its AI data centers through 2031. Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

Under the updated pact, Anthropic gains access to as much as 3.5 gigawatts of Google’s next-generation TPUs, contingent on the AI startup’s continued commercial success. Anthropic’s revenue run-rate has climbed above $30 billion, and its roster of clients spending over $1 million annually doubled to 1,000.
