Gorilla Technology Expands Astrikos Investment, Adds Board Nominee Deborah Hudson
Gorilla Technology boosted its strategic investment in Astrikos.AI to deepen integration of real-time infrastructure intelligence into its AI infrastructure stack across India, the USA and UAE. It also nominated Deborah Hudson to Astrikos’s board to strengthen governance and drive joint commercial opportunities in Southeast Asia, Middle East and United States.
1. Investment Increase and Integration Strategy
Gorilla Technology has increased its stake in Bengaluru-based Astrikos.AI, building on a December 2025 investment to integrate Astrikos’ real-time infrastructure intelligence into its AI-driven security, network and data centre platforms. This deepened partnership aims to enhance Gorilla’s AI infrastructure stack by combining compute, video analytics and operational intelligence capabilities.
2. Market Expansion and Commercial Opportunities
The expanded investment is designed to accelerate joint sales efforts across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the United States, where demand for secure, sovereign AI infrastructure is growing. Astrikos’ platform, which monitors cooling, power, IT load and physical systems in real time, is expected to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and optimise capacity for large-scale AI deployments.
3. Board Nomination and Governance Alignment
As part of the deal, Gorilla nominated Deborah Hudson, Senior Advisor to the CEO and incoming Managing Partner of Gorilla Tech Capital, as a non-executive director on Astrikos’s board. Her appointment, pending board approval, underscores Gorilla’s commitment to strategic oversight and closer governance alignment as the partnership expands.
