Greenland Mines Engages Tetra Tech, GeoSim for S-K 1300 MRE on Sarfartoq Nd-Pr Project
GRML•Greenland Mines has engaged Tetra Tech Canada and GeoSim Services to deliver an S-K 1300-compliant Mineral Resource Estimate for its Sarfartoq Nd-Pr rare earth project, integrating historical 2011-2012 NI 43-101 data and Neo-era drilling. The updated MRE, expected by summer, will underpin a PEA refresh and facilitate license transfers.
1. Consultant Engagement
Greenland Mines has engaged GeoSim Services Inc. as Qualified Person and Tetra Tech Canada Inc. for engineering and metallurgical support to prepare an S-K 1300-compliant Mineral Resource Estimate for Sarfartoq, leveraging GeoSim’s Ronald G. Simpson, P.Geo., and Tetra Tech’s Vancouver mining unit.
2. S-K 1300 MRE Scope
The updated MRE will integrate historical 2011 and 2012 NI 43-101 estimates, Neo Performance Materials drilling and studies from 2023–2025, and new technical analyses, with completion targeted by summer to underpin an updated preliminary economic assessment.
3. Project Attributes
Sarfartoq features a carbonatite-hosted rare earth deposit with Nd-Pr contents comprising 25%–40% of total rare earth oxides, supporting open-pit and underground concepts and strategic value for magnet rare earth supply chains in electric vehicles, wind power and defense applications.
4. License Transfer Process
Greenland Mines has initiated formal transfer of Sarfartoq exploration licenses to its Greenland subsidiary and is in active discussions with local regulators to ensure timely license transfer ahead of project development milestones.
