Initial production at its Southern California plant, targeting 10-gigawatt annual capacity, is targeted for mid-2027, subject to a regulatory agreement and ongoing compliance.

Graphene & Solar Technologies unit QSM USA secured a California sales and use tax exclusion of up to $14.999831 million, covering up to $176.47 million in qualified property for planned silicon wafer manufacturing operations. The company said the planned Southern California plant targets annual capacity of 10 gigawatts, with initial production targeted for mid-2027, subject to execution of a regulatory agreement and ongoing program compliance; QSM USA had previously announced a $45 million California Competes Tax Credit tied to investment and hiring milestones.
