Gumloop secured $50 million in a Series B round led by Benchmark general partner Everett Randle, marking Randle’s first deal at his new firm. Additional investors include Nexus VP, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Box Group, The Cannon Project and Shopify. Surging demand from enterprise customers has driven Gumloop to build a dedicated sales force and scale up its engineering headcount to accelerate product development and customer onboarding. The startup’s platform enables non-technical employees at organizations such as Shopify, Ramp, Gusto, Samsara, Instacart and Opendoor to deploy autonomous AI agents that handle multi-step tasks without engineering support. Gumloop competes with established platforms like Zapier and n8n, specialized agent builders such as Dust, and AI labs offering similar capabilities, but claims superior user adoption and reliability in internal trials.
