GXO has launched Europe’s first Autoload system at Grupa Żywiec’s Elbląg facility, cutting trailer loading time to two minutes and reducing material consumption. With nearly 50% of its Central Europe revenue now from automated operations, GXO anticipates higher throughput, standardized processes and enhanced safety standards.

1. Europe’s First Autoload Implementation

GXO implemented the first Autoload system in Europe at Grupa Żywiec’s Elbląg facility, automating trailer loading and unloading to complete the full trailer movement in about two minutes and eliminating individual pallet handling.

2. Efficiency and Safety Gains

The automated loader reduces material consumption, increases throughput, standardizes workflow quality, and minimizes Material Handling Equipment activity on loading docks, significantly enhancing workplace safety and process repeatability.

3. Automation’s Strategic Impact

With nearly 50% of Central Europe revenue driven by automated operations, GXO reinforces its leadership in logistics technology and plans to integrate Autoload with existing warehouse automation for scalable cost and operational gains.
