The deal is set to more than double Texas Water Company’s wastewater connections in its Texas Hill Country footprint.
The transaction aims to lift operating efficiency by combining wastewater assets with communities already served by Texas Water Company’s water service.
Regulatory approval for Texas Water acquisition
H2O America’s Texas unit, Texas Water Company, agreed to buy the Cibolo Valley wastewater treatment plant and collection systems from South Central Water Company.
Closing is expected on Nov. 1, 2026, following receipt of the remaining required clearance.
