Hackett Group research shows AI-led HR redesign cuts cost per hire up to 61%
HCKT•AI-led HR redesign benchmarks
The Hackett Group published AI World Class HR benchmarks, flagging a widening performance gap between process-led AI redesign and task-level HR automation.
Modeling showed recruiting cost per hire could drop up to 61%, recruiter productivity could rise up to 119%, and time-to-fill could fall up to 57%.
Internal fill rates could be up to 101% higher, training hours up to 160% higher, and HR self-service up to 187% higher.
The benchmarks framed the next phase of AI adoption as an organizational capability race, not a software deployment cycle.
The research drew on more than 30 years of benchmark data, citing coverage across most Dow Jones Global Titans, Dow Jones Industrials, and the Fortune 100.
