Haemonetics Combines Plasma and Blood Center into Apheresis, Renames Hospital to MedSurg
HAE•Haemonetics will consolidate its Plasma and Blood Center segments into a single Apheresis segment and rename its Hospital segment MedSurg, effective Q1 FY2027 starting March 29, 2026. The company has posted recast quarterly revenue for FY2024–FY2026 and a recast of its FY2027 revenue guidance on its Investor Relations site.
1. Revised Reportable Segments
Haemonetics will transition from three reportable segments to two, combining Plasma and Blood Center into Apheresis and renaming the Hospital segment MedSurg to align external reporting with internal management structures.
2. Supplemental Revenue Disclosures
The Apheresis segment will include supplemental disclosure for Plasma and Other, while the MedSurg segment will continue to report Blood Management Technologies and Interventional Technologies.
3. Implementation Timeline and Recasts
The company will adopt the new structure in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (beginning March 29, 2026) and has provided recast quarterly revenue for fiscal years 2024 through 2026 alongside a recast of its fiscal year 2027 revenue guidance for comparability.
